About
A national ecosystem of engineering expertise
Our mission is simple: we acquire local engineering and compliance businesses for the long term, investing in talent and technology to self-deliver integrated technical services and building solutions across the UK.
“Great engineers deserve an owner that’s as committed to the future as they are. We founded this business to be the best possible permanent home for the UK’s engineers, and to do it by building on what founders worked so hard to create. Our companies benefit from being part of a wider family of technical services businesses, while retaining the culture and autonomy that served their customers so well.”
Dan Guest, CEO, Eight Group Service Partners
Our Vision
We exist to redefine technical services through trusted partnerships, bringing together a national ecosystem of engineering expertise, empowered by innovation, technology and a people-first culture.
By leading through influence, collaboration and accountability, we deliver best-in-class service with a local touch at a national scale.
Our Values
What we stand for
-
Do What’s Right
We earn trust through actions, not words. We act with integrity, take accountability for our decisions, and do what we say we will do.
-
Put People First
We create an inclusive environment where everyone feels valued, respected and can contribute. By supporting one another and embracing different perspectives, we help people thrive.
-
Think “One Team”
We collaborate openly, leaving egos at the door. Playing to our strengths, we get the best from each other, celebrating wins and learning from setbacks as a collective.
-
Set the Standard
We refuse to settle for average and strive for excellence. Curious and ambitious, we continuously improve ourselves, our businesses and the service we deliver.
-
Protect What Matters
We put safety first and act responsibly in everything we do. Thinking long-term, we make sustainable choices for our people, our partners and our planet.
Our people are here to support your business
Eight Group’s leadership team is practical, knowledgeable, and committed to your success. With decades of experience building people-first organisations, we develop strong relationships with founders and management teams while always focusing on long-term sustainability over short-term gains. We are here to support your growth as partners, not owners.

Mo Dawood has spent 20 years inside fast-growing, complex organisations making sure technology never becomes the thing that slows them down.
As CIO at Eight Group, Mo builds the technology foundation that makes rapid, multi-site growth possible without diluting what makes each business special. He has done this before, and at serious scale, taking Sapphire Utility Solutions from £30m to £140m and leading the IT consolidation of a £700m organisation with over 4,500 employees across 60 sites.
His approach is built on one principle: the people doing the work are the experts. Every system, every process, every technology decision at Eight Group exists to give those people exactly what they need, when they need it, so they can do their job brilliantly. That’s how Eight Group delivers for its customers, and how the group will continue to grow.
Outside work, Mo coaches under-10s girls’ football and regularly speaks at global tech events.
